I get calls all of the time from people who want to know how I get to do this awesome job.  Well it's a long journey and 25 years of collective experiences.  Originally, I was a teacher for 18 years, and I actually taught all grades K-College which gave me a lot of insight into kids and families.  I feel like I can talk to kids of all ages and make a connection with them.  While teaching, I went to graduate school for counseling which planted a seed for a career change.  Several years later, my husband graduated from law school and we started our family.  We were always around adoption and foster care, and we fostered several times.  Eventually, I left teaching to start my adoption business on a complete leap of faith.  More than 10 years later, I am so very thankful and blessed to have completed OVER 1,000 home studies.  I have met the most wonderful people and experienced the most amazing stories. I am honored to be a small part of each adoption story!
